Dale Ryan is the author of The Painted Pilgrim, a book about a rescue dog named Pellegrino.  This prompts another episode of Accent Theater with Tom and Alex.

Mike F. Blaine’s Synopsis:

Tom opens part 2 with Kathryn, Andy, Alex and Dan Rassmussen from Florida and Mike Rasmussen and Mike Molina in studio.

First Tom talks with Dan about his encounter with a deer being attacked by coyotes and being interviewed on the channel 5 news about it.

Then, Tim Lammers calls in to talk about the Golden Globe awards. Tim also reviews the movie “Selma” and Tom and Tim discuss truth and the lack thereof in movies today. Tim also discusses his crush on Amy Purdy.

Next, today’s guest Dale Ryan calls in to talk about her new book “The Painted Pilgrim” and all manner of dog related topics. This is her second book, her first being titled “Sleeping with Beasts” (unfortunate title or dirty mind, you decide).

After that the crew discuss their shelter dogs and their problems with post traumatic stress.

Michael Bryant calls in next to congratulate Tom on the announcement and to compliment Andy on a stellar performance on last Friday’s show.

To end the show Tom and Alex argue about the “correct” pronunciation of Italian words with Alex maintaining that Tom is trying to be “fancy”.

Finally Tom wraps it up and we’re done. Have a great day. See you next episode.
