#69 Jake Johannsen and Ralph Harris

As a surprise to everyone, we learn that Jake and Ralph are old friends who immediately enter into a high energy back and forth.  This double length episode takes place of Thursday and Friday’s single episodes.

Jake Johannsen (@JakeThis) made his debut at Cobbs Comedy Club in San Francisco, and by 1986 had won the 11th Annual San Francisco International Comedy Competition.  During the 1990s, Johannsen starred in his own HBO comedy special, This’ll Take About an Hour, which was listed as one of the Ten Best Television Shows by People Magazine in 1992. In 1994, he was nominated as “Best Male Stand-Up Comedian” for the 1994 American Comedy Awards. Johannsen is a favorite of David Letterman and on May, 2011 made his 40th appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman.

Ralph Harris (@RalphHarris) is currently the Host of the brand new Culinary Competition My Momma Throws Down on the TVOne network. He made his feature film debut in Dreamgirls. Ralph has continued his film career in the film Evan Almighty.  He has also been featured on television, including appearances on Seinfeld, The Parent ‘Hood, Nick Freno, Living Single and In Living Color, The Tonight Show Starring Jay Leno and Late Night with Conan O’Brien. However Ralph is probably best known for his starring role in the ABC-TV sitcom “On Our Own”.
